Assuming that either way, we get a GREAT football game, are you OK with the game not having an NFL License?

Absolutely, So long as game play is on point and it has a deep franchise mode.

Yes and No.
Yes. As long as it's plentiful in modes, options and has authentic and immersive gameplay. Also, if unlicensed offer customization and the user support/features allowing things like PC-style mods for the console. Roster share, stadium customization, jersey customization...the whole 9.
No. I want to play with my Dallas Cowboys. I love football, but NFL football is hard-coded in my blood. I don't mind the NFL shield. It's definitely a minor thing and I'd get over it, probably wouldn't care as long as it's done properly. Still would be bittersweet at times.

I'd be okay with the game it just needs to be a solid football gaming experience. Although i wouldn't lie to you it'd be very hard to replicate diffrent teams and diffrent atmospheres without a license.

It just has to be good and I would have no problem. Although, I believe that playing with NFL teams, would enhance the game 2x.

I'm ok with an unlicensed game. I'm not ok with the OS post being a fabrication and the community being misled regarding its validity.

I'm 100% behind a non-licensed game. I'm a creative-minded guy. I want to create my own league, rules, teams, players, etc. Like mentioned above: The whole 9 yards. I have my doubts that customization will be expansive, though. When it was brought up in the Twitch chat, Damon responded with an answer that basically said to stick with them through this first release, because if it succeeds, he has much bigger plans. Now, I could be misinterpretting what he said, and I hope I am, but you can see my hesitation after seeing that. On the flipside, if you watch that TechCrunch interview Joe and Damon did, Joe was going on about how he liked the idea of players creating their own teams and whatnot. Could go either way.

I fully agree, I love customization in really any game. I come from a big high school football area, that's how you spend your time around here. So to have customization to more or less create those high school teams would be awesome.

I'm ok with it because if it replicates football the right way. We all gonna be playing it. Someone in the community will make the NFL rosters for us to download. TRUST AND BELIEVE THAT. I give up with minimal amounts of things so I know how to make Lemonade when someone gives me lemons. In this case Big Azz Lemons!!!

I'm cool with an unlicensed game. I love the game of football not just the NFL. If provide realistic play and football situations I will play this non stop. I want a football game that makes it hard for me to turn of my console or PC. Similar to how to mlb the show. I still play mlb the show 14 because it plays baseball very.

Others have stated good points n I will reiterate: The game could be unbelievable without the license as far as restrictions go with the NFL; big hits, tattoos, late hits, fights, penalties, playing with a lower psi, pumping in crowd noise, heating the balls up; the last few were a joke but you get the picture. Story mode could have some interesting twists too that just couldnt be done with the NFL. So, license or no license has its perks and I only care about game play n franchise mode!

I couldn't care less if it's unlicensed. At this point, I just want something that truly emulates the sport like 2k's football games did. The difference now is I want it to be even better. I have had a gut feeling for quite some time that this game is going to be amazing. As long as the franchise mode supports online leagues and is incredibly deep, immersive and realistic, I won't care if it is licensed or not. Getting immersed into the league and into the players that are in the game is all that matters.
